EPA RELEASES INTERIM RECORD OF DECISION ON OMAHA LEAD SITE
EPA signed an Interim Record of Decision (ROD) for the Omaha Lead Site
on Dec. 15, 2004. This interim decision document presents the selected
remedial action for lead-contaminated residential properties in eastern

public comments EPA received about the preferred remedy.
“EPA will continue to partner with the community, health agencies, school officials, and all other persons who are actively involved in protecting and safeguarding the health of Omaha’s children,” said EPA Region 7 Administrator Jim Gulliford. “This Interim ROD includes measures for addressing human health risks and sets out next steps for site cleanup actions in a timely manner.”
