Iowa Department of Natural Resources' 2009 Air Monitoring Network Plan
On May 29, 2009, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) posted its 2009 Air Monitoring Network Plan on the IDNR Web site for public notice and comment. IDNR electronically submitted its annual monitoring network plan to EPA on July 27, 2009. The network plan can be downloaded at the IDNR Web site (PDF) (64 pp, 3.8MB About PDF)
On July 27, 2009, IDNR electronically submitted responses to comments received on the May 29, 2009 plan. IDNR also supplied supplemental lead emissions information on July 22, 2009, and specific lead monitor location information on August 6, 2009. These additions to IDNR's 2009 Air Monitoring Network Plan can be downloaded below:

EPA is taking comment on these supplemental annual monitoring network plan documents as submitted by IDNR. Because IDNR had previously offered an opportunity to comment, EPA is not taking comment on the full July 27, 2009 network plan submission. Only comments regarding the 2009 Air Monitoring Network Plan supplemental documents will be considered. Comments must be submitted or postmarked by October 28, 2009, to be considered.
