Environmental Education
The Environmental Education Program in EPA's Pacific Southwest regional office (Region 9) is committed to providing educational services for educators, students, youth groups and community or environmental organizations. As a part of EPA's national Office of Environmental Education, Region 9 offers a competitive grants program, environmental education publications for classroom use, and a youth awards program.
What's New in Environmental Education
- Environmental Education Grants for Fiscal Year 2010
Specific instructions for submitting an application are provided on the How to Apply for an Environmental Education Grant page. The deadline for applications is December 15, 2009.
- President's Environmental Youth Award
EPA's National program recognizes the environmental efforts and accomplishments of students in grades K-12. The deadline for applications is December 31, 2009. - 2010 $5,000 Richard C. Bartlett Environmental Education Award: The Richard C. Bartlett Environmental Education Award is awarded annually to an outstanding educator who has successfully integrated environmental education into his or her daily education programs.
