Regional Cross-Program Topics
EPA's cross-program activities, also known as "cross-media" activities, feature an interdisciplinary approach to environmental issues. This strategy recognizes that many environmental issues cannot be fully addressed without the assistance of several or all of the traditional resource or "media" divisions (i.e., air, water and waste) within EPA's organization. By drawing upon and coordinating the expertise of these different programs, EPA can take a comprehensive and flexible approach to solving complex problems.Programs and Topics
