Environmental Education Materials

EPA has published materials on a wide range of environmental subjects, from global warming to school recycling programs, for use in the classroom by teachers and students. Our resources offer basic age-appropriate information, often promoting interactive learning.
Copies of many publications are free and most can be ordered from the National Service Center for Environmental Publications (NSCEP) by phone: 1 (800) 490-9198
Many publications can also be downloaded and printed from our website.
To view a more complete listing of educational materials online and/or to place orders, visit the National Service Center for Environmental Publications
The goal of Region 9's Environmental Education Office, in keeping with the EPA's priorities, is to assist the general public whenever possible. Please feel free to call us if you have questions or need assistance:
You will need Adobe Reader to view some of the files on this page. See EPA's PDF page to learn more about PDF, and for a link to the free Adobe Reader.
