| Purpose | To provide funding for communities & other stakeholders in economic redevelopment to work together to assess, safely cleanup, and sustainable reuse Brownfields. |
| Eligible Applicants | States, cities, towns, counties, U.S. Territories, Indian tribes and nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply. |
| Award Amount | Between 200K-1M depending on type of grant. |
| Total Awarded in Fiscal Year | $74 million nationally in FY08. |
| Matching Share | Some grants require matching share of 20% but not all. |
