CALIBRATION AND OPERATION OF pH METERS
Summary
The purpose of this standard operating procedure (SOP) is to describe procedures for the electrometric measurement of pH using a variety of pH meters. The procedures are based on EPA Method 150.1.
This SOP is applicable to the measurement of pH in drinking, surface, and saline waters, and in domestic and industrial wastewater. The SOP is to be followed whenever pH water quality measurements are made, either in the toxicity lab or in the field.
