CALIBRATION AND OPERATION OF DISSOLVED OXYGEN METERS
Summary
The purpose of this standard operating procedure (SOP) is to describe procedures for the measurement of dissolved oxygen (DO) using a variety of DO meters. The procedures are based on EPA Method 360.1.
This SOP is applicable to the measurement of dissolved oxygen in surface, groundwater, and saline waters, and in domestic and industrial wastewater. The SOP is to be followed whenever dissolved oxygen water quality measurements are made, either in the toxicity lab or in the field.
