CALIBRATION AND OPERATION OF CONDUCTIVITY METERS
Summary
The purpose of this standard operating procedure (SOP) is to describe procedures for the measurement of conductivity using a variety of conductivity meters. The procedures are based on EPA Method 120.1.
This SOP is applicable to the measurement of conductivity in drinking, surface, and ground waters, and in domestic and industrial wastewater. The SOP is to be followed whenever conductivity measurements are made, either in the toxicity lab or in the field.
