pH BY EPA METHOD 150.1
Summary
This method is applicable for drinking, ground, surface, and saline waters, domestic and industrial wastes and acid rain. This SOP is based on EPA Method 150.1.
These procedures are not applicable to waste characterization which requires the determination of pH at 2 and 12.5.
The pH of a sample is determined electrometrically using a combination electrode attached to a pH meter with automatic temperature compensation (ATC).
