EPA Online Library Catalog
Locate books, EPA reports, technical documents and more. This is the U.S. EPA Library Network catalog reflecting the holdings of the 26 EPA libraries across the country. Updated every two weeks, it is searchable by title, author and keyword.
EPA Desktop Library
Access current news, journal articles, reports and reference materials through the Desktop Library. Both commercial and freely-available resources are available through this EPA Librarian-created portal.

Produced by INFO USA, this database provides data on nearly 14 million businesses. Information is compiled from the Yellow Pages and business White Pages of more than 5,000 telephone directories from the United States and Canada, annual reports, leading business magazines, and other sources. The data provided includes business name, decision maker, street address, phone and fax numbers, SIC codes, estimated sales, etc. To ensure the accuracy of information, the publisher's staff place thousands of verification telephone calls daily. A label-printing feature is available for EPA users of this database.

Hot links between all 50 CFR titles, FR & Statute. State laws & regs too.
Includes the Federal Register (1996 - present) and all 50 titles of the Code of Federal Regulations. Tracking changes is easy. Links are provided though out the FR and CFR. Also includes State laws and regulations, selected County regulations, and the laws and regulations for Mexico and Canada.
Remote access, email notification when a change is made to any regulation of interest, and customization of the Web site is available for EPA Region 9 staff.

Access to more than 1,700 research journals in the life, physical, medical, technical, and social sciences. Full-text articles for all Elsevier and Academic Press journals to which the EPA subscribes. Abstracts of articles are available for all other journals.

Access to scholarly literature in the sciences, EPA's subscription includes Web of Science: Science Citation Index Expanded (1970-present), Current Contents Connect®, and Journal Citation Reports® on the Web: Science Edition 2008.
Hazardous Substances Data Bank (HSDB)
Comprehensive, peer-reviewed toxicology data for about 5,000 chemicals. Includes chemical/physical properties, human health effects, metabolism/pharmacokinetics, environmental fate/exposure, manufacturing/use information and more.
