Charnock Project Electronic Documents
For
the Charnock MTBE (Methyl tert Butyl Ether) Project, the Agencies
have required all major documents and reports to be submitted in
electronic format in order to reduce paper use, reduce copying costs,
and improve information accessibility.
The benefits of this requirement have been tremendous. Most major documents are on CD ROMs. Many documents contain large scale color figures and photographs, and are typically hundreds of pages long. Hard copy documents that would typically take hours to copy, now can be copied in a few minutes in their electronic format.
