Facilities may use the PCB self audit checklist (PDF) to determine compliance with TSCA and, if potential violations are identified, may mitigate EPA enforcement actions by following the self-disclosure policy guidelines.

When EPA identifies violations of the PCB provisions of the TSCA, EPA responds to such violations in accordance with the PCB penalty policy, penalty inflation policy, and supplemental environmental project policy.
