This page lists Public Notices for Draft Permits for all areas where EPA Region 9 is the permitting authority. EPA Region 9 is the permitting authority for Tribal lands in Arizona, California, Nevada, and also all Navajo lands; the Pacific Island territories of Guam, American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands; and any discharges into federal ocean waters beyond state boundaries. This page includes permits currently open for public comment as well as permits for which the public comment period has ended.

Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada issue NPDES permits for discharges on lands (other than Tribal lands) within those states. State-issued permits and related information are accessible through state program websites.
