Entoleter Oil Response

Oil was discovered in a drainage ditch and wetland area behind the Entoleter facility at 251 Welton St. in Hamden, Conn. The wetland area is connected to the Quinnipiac River via a culvert. EPA responded Oct. 29, 2011, to support the Conn. Dept. of Energy & Environmental Protection. Responders met with representatives of Entoleter, the apparent source of the release. Entoleter hired a contractor, to clean the site. Site cleanup was completed under the direction of CTDEEP.
