Criminal Investigative Division (CID)
The Baltimore
resident office of EPA's Criminal Investigation Division is located
at the Environmental Science Center. Special Agents for EPA conduct
criminal investigations into flagrant violations of the nation's
environmental laws. Agents assigned to the Baltimore resident office
investigate environmental crimes in the state Maryland and the District
of Columbia. Investigations may involve illegal disposal of hazardous
waste, illegal discharges to waterways and illegal removal and disposal
of asbestos from industrial buildings.
