The Facility Inspection Program (FIP)
FIP provides inspections and field investigation services to many of Region III's programs. The inspectors posess a wide range or expertise to conduct a variety of field investigations. In addition to the single media investigations, staff has the expertise to conduct complex multi-media inspections at large regulated facilities. FIP also provides technical support to EPA's Criminal Investigation Division. The FIP Program is under the guidance of the Mid-Atlantic Region Office of Enforcement, Compliance and Environmental Justice.
