Water Legal Support
The water practice group provides counseling and regulatory support to the Region 4 Water Division on issues involving the waters of the eight southern regional states. Areas of regulatory concern include matters related to:- The Clean Water Act
- The Safe Drinking Water Act
- Ground Water Protection
- Nonpoint Source Pollution
- Ocean Dumping
- South Florida Geographic Initiative
- Surface Water Permits
- Total Maximum Daily Loads
- Underground Injection Control
- Water Quality Standards
- Watersheds
- Wetlands
The responsibilities of attorneys in this office include work on administrative and judicial enforcement against violators of the laws, and counseling on permitting, state programs and other water issues.
