275 Centennial Olympic Park Drive NWAtlanta, Georgia 30313
Region 4 will participate in one of the city's largest Earth Day Events just
for kids! The event will be held at the Imagine It! Children’s Museum of Atlanta,
on Saturday, April 26, 2008. Throughout the day, children will engage in
a host of enriching activities such as meeting EPA’s Mother Earth who will
distribute and help kids plant vegetable and plant seeds in their very
own pot. She will also distribute colorful sun visors for the children
to decorate and use to march in the “SunWise” Parade throughout the museum!
Also, kids will enjoy the storytime with Park Ranger Piedmont. EPA will also
perform a fun and educational puppet show for children about asthma and
how to “breathe easy.” The public is invited.
