Personal Emissions Calculator

EPA has developed tools to help individuals (and households) reduce greenhouse gas emissions and take action. This calculator provides an estimate of household greenhouse gas emissions resulting from household energy use and waste disposal, and it gives you information you can use to identify ways to reduce your personal greenhouse gases. The What You Can Do section of the climate change site identifies 30 action steps that individuals can take to decrease greenhouse gas emissions, increase the nation's energy independence, and save money.
