Copper Basin Mining District Historic Photographs

Description: This photo depicts the large tailings pond north of the old London Mill Flotation plant. Wind dispersal of the tailings has been a concern to nearby residences. We expect that this problem should be nearly eliminated by the end of 2003 as a result of revegetation work by Glenn Springs Holdings and the State of Tennessee.
