Charting Region 4's GPRA Progress
RCRA Corrective Action
To measure the progress of the RCRA Corrective Action program, facilities in the RCRA Cleanup Baseline are evaluated for the two RCRA environmental indicators. The following charts are specifically designed to report to the public information about Region 4's progress in controlling current exposures to humans and controlling migration of contaminated groundwater.

GPRA stands for Government Performance and Results Act, which places new management expectations and requirements on federal agencies. In the Corrective Action arena, EPA Region 4 is closely tracking its progress at bringing the environmental situation at 557 facilities under its control.
The first chart shows the percentage of facilities in the Region 4 RCRA Cleanup Baseline, by State, that have achieved control of current human exposures and migration of contaminated groundwater. In addition many of these facilities have also accomplished remedy and remedy construction.
