National Superfund Redevelopment
The goal of the Superfund Redevelopment Program in Region 4 is to return contaminated Superfund removal and remedial sites to safe and productive uses. EPA works with communities and other stakeholders - prospective purchasers, local governments - to consider reuse opportunities and to integrate appropriate reuse options into the cleanup process whenever possible. Getting Started with Superfund Redevelopment

- Region 4's Prospective Purchaser Inquiry Service, a free, optional, information service offered by Region 4 to provide information about specific sites; including cleanup status, liability protection and lien issues; and to answer questions about the coordination of cleanup and redevelopment activities at current or former Superfund sites.

- Port Salerno Industrial Park (PSIP) Receives EPA "Excellence in Site Reuse" award
PSIP, located at the Solitron Microwave Superfund Site in Port Salerno, Florida has received an "Excellence in Site Reuse" award for redeveloping the site in a manner which has enhanced EPA's selected remedy at the site as well as contributing to the revitalization of the property and the surrounding community.
