Watershed Improvement Summaries
Watershed Improvement Summaries represent the efforts of Region 4 and our state and local partners to bring about watershed improvement. EPA has a nation-wide goal to improve water quality conditions in 250 watersheds for 2012 by utilizing a watershed approach.
Watershed improvement summaries provide examples of how federal, state and local partnerships can achieve success in improving watershed quality. Watershed planning offers ways to manage and improve your local watershed.
For more information on Watershed Improvement Summaries in the southeast, contact your Region 4 state watershed coordinator. If you believe that your organization has a reportable watershed improvement summary, you may report it for consideration to EPA by clicking on the following link.
