Site Update

December 2014

EPA held a public meeting Dec. 11, 2014, to update the community on a report that lists possible cleanup options for a portion of the Kalamazoo River known as Area 1. Area 1 is the section of the Kalamazoo river that starts from Morrow dam to the former dam just downstream from the town of Plainwell. EPA expects to propose a cleanup plan based on these options in Summer 2015.
