"No Discharge Zones" in Ohio

A petition was sent on August 31, 2004 by the State of Ohio to U.S. EPA
requesting approval to prohibit the discharge of sewage treated or not,
from all vessels into the waters of Lake Erie under its jurisdiction.
They have stated there are approximately 353 marinas located with access
to the lake of which 121 marinas have pumpout and /or dump stations for
vessel sewage. (Volume
