The Union Township Waste Water Treatment Plant has applied for a modification to its NPDES Permit to discharge into the designated receiving water. The discharge is located within the boundaries of the Isabella Indian Reservation. The EPA has retained the authority to issue NPDES permits to facilities with discharges to waters of the United States within the boundaries of Indian Reservations. The permit modification will be issued by EPA under the authorities of the Clean Water Act.
All comments must be received by May 29, 2013 to be considered.
