• McConnell & Scully, Inc. (Hillsdale County, MI) - EPA plans to issue a Class II injection well permit and is accepting written comments on the proposed permit May 7, 2012 - June 7, 2012
• Muskegon Development Company (Bay County, MI) - Muskegon Development Company will own and operate one proposed injection well for enhanced oil recovery. Muskegon Development Company will inject produced brine into a rock formation 2749 feet below the ground surface.
• Team Completions, LLC (Kalkaska, MI) - Team Completions LLC requests permit to dispose of landfill leachate into their commercial brine disposal well.
• Beeland Group (Emmet County, MI) - Beeland Group LLC of Jackson, MI, a subsidiary of Consumers Energy (CMS), applied for a permit to construct and operate a Class I injection well at the CMS Lands remediation facility. EPA has made a final decision to issue the permit and has issued its response to comments regarding the draft permit. (February 2012)

• Joint Powers Water Board of Albertville, Hanover, and St. Michael, Minnesota (Wright County, MN) - EPA plans to issue a Class V Aquifer Storage and Recovery injection well permit and is accepting written comments on the proposed permit through February 27, 2012.
