EDD: Data Submittal Information
This page provides information to data providers who are preparing a standard Region 5 Superfund data submittal.
Below is a link for the Superfund Comprehensive Electronic Data Deliverable Specification Manual, which gives data providers substantial detailed information regarding the preparation of EDD files.

Any updates to the above manual since publication can be found here.
Data providers can enter data directly into the Chemistry EDD Template or Geology EDD Template to aid in file preparation.
Valid Value Information
Below is the list of valid values as published in the Superfund Electronic Data Deliverable Specification Manual (Version 2.0). These values have been verified and approved for data provider use by EPA Region 5. Please print this list, as it will be used often throughout the EDD preparation process.

If a lab has provided you with a valid value that is generating errors in data checker software, please email a Valid Value Addition Request to GEOS EDD support (geoseddsupport@epa.gov).
