Major
BCT achievements or issues:
- Technology Optimization, Partnering, Property Transfer:
- Achievements.
The BCT is working very well with the City and other
community stakeholders to address the community's
concerns. The City is interested in reusing and
redeveloping some of the FOST property for expansion
of the O'Hare International Airport. The BCT will
meet with one of the City of Chicago's attorneys
and the Army on July 9, 2003, to discuss U.S. Army
Reserve Fort Dearborn's Construction Completion
Report for Various Sites. U.S. Army Reserve Fort
Dearborn is located on property adjacent to O'Hare
Air Reserve Station at O'Hare International Airport.
The BCT has worked together and accomplished saving
time and money by accelerating the review process
for Fort Dearborn's Construction Completion Report
(CCR). U.S. EPA submitted comments for the Fort
Dearborn CCR on June 17, 2003.
