Multiple State/Multiple Site FOIA Requests
These requests are initially processed the same as general and technical requests. However, when it becomes apparent that the documents requested are voluminous, the Specialist should contact the requestor. The request should be clarified, an estimate of charges given, and confirmed before proceeding to obtain the requested documents. If the fee estimate exceeds $250, and the requestor has no payment history, or if the requestor has not paid timely, the Specialist should request prepayment before the documents are released.
