fact sheets
A list of current NPL sites in the state.
- Records of Decision (RODs)
RODs are the published agreements on the blueprints of how the cleanup process is done; later
amendments may be made if needed. One NPL site can have a single ROD that covers everything
on the site, or different RODs for specific areas at the site.
- Five-year reviews
Every five years after a cleanup is considered to have been completed, a review is made of
field tests and evaluations against the ROD (as amended) to see if the long-term cleanup
process is working as designed.
