Each year, EPA Region 6 conducts inspections of potential pollution
sources and some result in enforcement actions and penalties. Copies
of EPA inspection reports, enforcement actions and documents related
to the agency's review of environmental impact statements under the
National Environmental Policy Act are available to the public using
our online, searchable database. The database contains information
on environmental enforcement activities conducted in Region 6, which
includes Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Texas, 66 federally recognized
Tribes and the Gulf of Mexico. Document summaries are viewable online,
and full copies of documents are available for download to your computer.

Compliance Assurance and Enforcement:
Air/Toxics Enforcement works with state, local and tribal governments, other federal agencies, businesses and community groups to implement and enforce the CAA regulations.
Hazardous Waste Enforcement provides guidance on all aspects of managing hazardous wastes and chemical substances; and offer compliance assistance to citizens, facilities, States, and Tribes.
Water Enforcement assures compliance and takes appropriate enforcement action against facilities for violations of the Clean Water and Safe Drinking Water acts, including animal feed lots, stormwater. Additional water quality information in Region 6 such as permits and grants.
Strategic Planning and Analyses manages cross-cutting programs, such as strategic planning and analyses of regional enforcement and compliance activities, environmental assessments under the National Environmental Policy Act and more.
