MISSION
The mission of the Air State and Tribal Operations Section is to work in partnership with our State, Local, and Tribal grantees to implement the requirements of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of Clean Air Act Grants for Region 6 States and Tribes (Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Region 6 Tribes)
- Management of Regional Planning Organizations and Regional Haze Grant Programs
- Regional and State Air Pollution Training Coordination
- Level of Effort Contracts and Funds Management
- Grant and technical support for local Air Toxics Projects
- Coordinate Clean Air Act Treatment in a manner similar to States Requests
