- Community Participation: Distribute updated schedule and discuss special event on February 18. Discuss community component of the project.

- How can we involve them on February 18th? Beyond February 18th?
- How does Wes Adell's visit tie in with this community project?
- How do we ensure his visit is worthwhile?
- What about invitations to City Hall?
- What about Wes' offer to bring trees to the Kansas City community?
- Compost Needs: Review matrix of compost needs and responsibilities. Should Marcia join EPA in talking with Dr. Harrison about the site selected and the February 18th event? Does Marcia have suggestions for the nitrogen source? Buckets for the students?
- Communications. Discuss EPA communication with Americorps (see suggested approach on new calendar). Note February 17 meeting at EPA with Dr. Harrison and Marcia Pomeroy to discuss future stages of the project, i.e., community garden.
