ISO 14001The requirements identified on this page are derived from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001 standard for environmental management systems. Additional information on this standard can be obtained from their Website at www.iso.org/iso/home.htm
An organization's senior management must periodically review the EMS to evaluate its ongoing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness towards achieving the desired level of environmental performance.
Region 7's senior management reviews our EMSs annually, based on an operating procedure, to determine our ability to achieve our objectives and targets and the commitments in our environmental policy statement. Any deficiencies in the system are noted and then corrected through the corrective and preventive action process to bring the system back into alignment with expectations. If you have questions about the Region's management review process, please contact the Region 7 Office of Public Affairs.
