Locating a Property
There are many different types of contaminated and potentially contaminated sites and properties that could be revitalized and returned to productive use. In addition, sites are cleaned up by EPA, other federal agencies, states agencies, municipalities, or the company or party responsible for the contamination. As a result, there are a number of contaminated site inventories that can be searched to locate candidate redevelopment sites.
If you are interested in finding out what contaminated sites might be in your area and potentially available for reuse, the following links will help you identify different types of contaminated sites being cleaned up by EPA or your relevant state cleanup agency.

Contaminated sites not addressed by EPA as Superfund or RCRA sites, or by other federal agencies and Federal Facility sites are often managed by or the responsibility of the state in which the site is located.
