How to be Green at Home

Are you good at conserving energy? Do you take only the water that you need? Do you leave some for the next person? There's so much you can do to save energy!

Join us and you can be "green" too. Here are some fun things you can do:

• Reduce the amount of water you use in the bathtub and turn off the water while brushing your teeth
• Use reusable shopping bags and twisty ties again and again
• Recycle bottles, plastic and paper
• Remember to turn off the lights, computer and TV when you leave the room
• Remember to unplug things that use electricity when you're not using them!
• Ride a bike, walk or take light-rail instead of driving the car
• Run your dishwasher or washing machine only when its full
• Recycle stuff like batteries, cell phones and computers, too
• Remember to turn off the sprinkler when your grass has had enough to drink
