Some of the most significant work accomplished in the realm of environmental protection is completed at the state and local level. To facilitate and support those efforts, EPA provides financial assistance grants to qualified applicants on subjects ranging from solid waste to environmental education. 2008 Wetlands Program Development Grants
EPA Region 8 is soliciting proposals for the FY08 Wetland Program Development Grant (WPDG) competition. The WPDG was initiated in FY90 to provide applicants an opportunity to carry out projects to develop and refine comprehensive wetland programs. Proposals for the 2008 WPDG are due on May 16, 2008. Funding Opportunity for Tribes to meet their drinking water infrastructure needs.
