Revitalization Fact Sheets
Region 8 is working closely with partners in our states and tribes to transform many contaminated and environmentally degraded places into thriving and productive areas. As the fact sheets below indicate, revitalization can come in many different sizes and shapes. These examples highlight diverse efforts that are revitalizing local communities by creating commercial and residential districts, parks and wildlife refuges, and restoring wetlands and rivers.
