Oil Regulations Workshop Announcement
EPA will be conducting Spill Prevention, Control and Containment (SPCC) inspections in Montana this summer at facilities engaged in drilling, producing, gathering, storing, processing, refining, transferring, distributing, using or consuming oil and oil products. Oil means oil of any kind or in any form, including but not limited to petroleum oils, fuel oil, gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, jet fuel, asphalt, waste oil, vegetable oils, animal oils, sludge, oil refuse, oil mixed with wastes other than dredged spoil, mineral oils, synthetic oils, and any other oil.To assist owners/operators in being in full compliance with the requirements before the inspections, EPA will be providing a Compliance Assistance Outreach workshop that will cover all of the SPCC regulations. There will also be time to answer all of your questions regarding the requirements and the December 2006 amendments. Workshops will be provided at the following locations on the dates indicated:
