Municipal Stormwater Permits
Under the NPDES storm water program, operators of storm sewer collection systems are required to develop a program to reduce the discharge of pollutants to waters of the United States.

NOI (Notice of Intent) Applications for Regulated Small MS4s. The applications for coverage under the Colorado Federal Facility Small MS4 General Permit contain the measurable goals defined by each of the facilities. While these measurable goals may change, the applications contain the baseline conditions under which each of the following facilities have been permitted. Comments may be provided to Greg Davis at the EPA Region 8 office regarding any of the following NOI applications at any time and will be addressed upon re-issuance of the Region 8 Small MS4 General Permit.
Regulated Municipalities in Region 8
Following are lists of municipalities that are required to obtain permit coverage under a small municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) permit. Lists will be periodically updated to include new permittees and contact information.
Colorado Federal Facility Regulated Small MS4s - EPA Region 8 maintains permitting authority for Federal facilities in Colorado. Seven Federal facilities have been designated as regulated MS4s requiring permit coverage under the Region 8 Small MS4 permit.
