EPA Region 8 and the Colorado Industrial Pretreatment Coordinators Association (CIPCA) annually co-sponsor a workshop to address the varied needs of municipal pretreatment personnel. Advanced to basic pretreatment training, discussions, and presentations are provided by local, state, and federal government representatives, as well as, experts from outside the government. The attendees are generally POTW and state employees responsible for administering Industrial Pretreatment Programs as required by the Federal pretreatment regulations 40 CFR Part 403.
Region 8 - 19th Annual Pretreatment Conference
The 19th Annual Pretreatment Conference was held in Cody, WY on May 12-14, 2009. The conference was attended by local, state, and federal pretreatment professionals within Region 8 as well as local pretreatment professionals from Region 9 and 10.
