Stakeholder Presentations
Beginning in 2008 through 2012, four Multi-Agency Uranium Stakeholder Workshops were held on the Navajo Nation. The intent of the workshops was to bring Navajo residents together to hear about the work going on to address contamination and more importantly to hear from them about their greatest concerns. Each of these workshops were attended by community members and stakeholders and provided valuable opportunities for residents to impact the decisions about how best to address contamination on the Navajo Nation. A 5th workshop is planned for April 2013 in Gallup, New Mexico. The primary focus of this upcoming workshop will be to solicit input on the next Five-Year Plan.
