Community Public Health
EPA is conducting human health-focused research on ways to improve health and well-being as well as promote community sustainability. Through science and tools, researchers are monitoring, tracking and evaluating environmental and social impacts on community public health. This research will inform community development, management decisions and public health policies to ensure that all citizens, including the most vulnerable groups, enjoy safe and healthy environments.
Using data and information collected from EPA researchers and partners, communities can better understand how social factors and environmental stressors may impact human health.
