
EPA and P&G Collaborate for Sustainability
EPA and Proctor & Gamble are collaborating to develop a sustainability tool to improve manufacturing operations.
With a target on the year 2020, Proctor & Gamble has partnered with EPA to become an environmentally sustainable company. Their list of goals include utilizing renewable energy to power facilities and eliminating all customer & manufacturing waste from landfills, among others. Together they will focus on how to introduce a sustainable system of production by using P&G's knowledge of manufacturing combined with EPA's system of performance indicators and sustainability metrics. The partnership will allow P&G to use EPA facilities as well as collaborate on research with the federal agency.
