A team of EPA scientists joined about 20 science students from Corinth Elementary School in Prairie Village, Kan., recently to test the water quality and examine the aquatic life in nearby Brush Creek. Students rotated between instructional booths where EPA scientists discussed the water chemistry of the stream as well as its biology. They also looked for certain animal species, such as fish and insects, that indicate stream health.
