Educational Employment Program
The EPA Student Educational Employment Program offers work opportunities from high school through graduate level study. By combining your academic studies with on-the-job training, the Student Educational Employment Program can help you obtain valuable experience for future employment.
The Educational Employment Program has two components:
- The Student Temporary Employment Program provides a flexible, temporary job to allow you to earn a salary while continuing your studies. The duties of your position do not have to be related to your career goals. Under this program, you are appointed to a part-time or full-time position that will not last longer than 1 year. Your appointment may be extended in 1-year increments
- Based on the cooperative education model, the Student Career Experience Program provides experience that is directly related to your academic and career goals. Many work/study schedules are possible under this program, including alternating full-time work with full-time semesters/ quarters of school and part-time work with parallel periods of study, as long as your work schedule does not interfere with your academic studies
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for either component of the Student Educational Employment Program, you must:
- meet the qualification requirements for the position to which appointed
