The aptly named Lakeside Café provides a very convenient way to get a freshly prepared breakfast or lunch. Set up in food court style, the café offers choices ranging from:
The café uses 100% biodegradable utensils made out of cornstarch for take out orders. Food scraps, along with other biodegradable materials, are collected at a recycle station near the tray drop. Two tons of organic wastes are diverted from the landfill and recycled into compost every month. Café compost is used to enrich our flower beds.
