Parking Decks

Two three-story parking decks provide half of the parking on campus, helping to preserve green space, minimize urban heat island effect and reduce storm water runoff. By using these decks rather than all surface parking, EPA saved about 20 acres of forest.

But what employees like best is the shade they get in the summer. Particularly the carpoolers - who can opt for reserved, shaded spaces close to the building entrance.
